sShibori Silk – silk satin ribbon hand Shibori dyed & pleated. Shibori silk is bias silk satin ribbon which has been hand Shibori dyed and pleated. The colour and texture are steam set resulting in a washfast and lightfast ribbon with a semi-permanent pleating. Each piece has multiple beautiful colours throughout the silk and has a finished width of 10 – 12.5cm. Shibori silk ribbon can used in bead embroidery as the main beading surface or as an accent. Shibori silk is also great to use with Soutache braid in your soutache products. Use fine nylon threads such as One g and Nymo, add some seed beads and bead backing and start creating.
Shibori silk is sold in 50cm lengths.
